Our co-founders met at a group-benefits insurer in Toronto, where one of them led the platform-engineering team and the other had worked her way up from claims into running a major employer-segment book of business. They watched HR teams struggle with the same set of problems every fall: enrolment campaigns that left half the workforce confused, EDI files that broke for one carrier in five, dependent verification that ate weeks of HR's time.
The market wasn't underserved by software, exactly. The gap was a platform built carefully, top to bottom, for the mid-market — companies between 200 and 5,000 employees. We launched in Canada in 2021 and expanded into the US in 2023. We now serve companies in Canada, the US, the UK, and the Republic of Ireland.
